In a recent statement, military officials from the autonomous administration in northeastern Syria, commonly referred to as Rojava, have called on the United States and France to step up efforts to secure the region's borders. "The United States and France can really protect the security of the entire border. We are ready for this military coalition to continue that responsibility," said a spokesperson for Rojava’s military forces. The official urged France to send troops to the border, emphasizing that their presence could help enforce a separation zone and mitigate tensions with Turkey. "By convincing Turkey to accept being on the border, we can start the peace process. We hope everything will be agreed upon in the next few weeks," the official added.
