On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, students at Khajeh Nasir al-Din University of Technology held a protest gathering and sit-in at the university’s central building. The protest, organized by students and student council representatives, aimed to draw attention to the problems in the university’s emergency services system and the ineffectiveness of officials in addressing these issues.
The protesting students stated that the lack of adequate response to students’ urgent health needs, particularly in critical situations, has put their well-being at risk. They demanded urgent and serious action from university officials to address these problems. On November 13, 2024, a group of students from Khajeh Nasir al-Din University of Technology, along with representatives from the student council, gathered and staged a sit-in at the university’s central building to protest against the inadequacy of the university’s emergency services and dissatisfaction with officials’ performance. The protest was partly motivated by the tragic death of "Amir Mahdi Choghini," a chemistry student at Khajeh Nasir University.
